Site lista os melhores videoclipes dos anos 90

O site americano especializado em música alternativa Pitchfork elegeu os 50 melhores vídeos musicais da década de 90. O primeiro lugar da lista, publicada nesta segunda-feira (23), ficou com "Come to daddy", clipe do artista de IDM ("intelligent dance music") Aphex Twin, dirigido por Chris Cunningham.

Cunningham também foi mencionado mais três vezes na lista, incluindo vídeos para artistas como Björk ("All is full of love", em nono lugar) e Squarepusher ("Come on my selector"). Mas os diretores que mais ganharam citações na lista são hoje cineastas.

Spike Jonze –de "Onde vivem os monstros" – foi citado seis vezes, por clipes de artistas como Weezer ("Buddy Holly"), Daft Punk ("Da funk") e Beastie Boys ("Sabotage"). O francês Michel Gondry, de "Brilho eterno de uma mente sem lembranças", também é citado seis vezes, por vídeos de artistas como Foo Fighters ("Everlong"), Chemical Brothers ("Let forever be") e Massive Attack ("Protection").
